About the field
A community field built for consistent use.
The Fort Garry Lions synthetic turf field is one of South Winnipeg’s few full-size artificial turf surfaces available for community rental. It is the home field of the Fort Garry Lions Football Club and is open to the broader Winnipeg sports community when not in club use.
The surface is maintained to the standard our own athletes train on and is suitable for structured practices, clinics, and scheduled competition blocks.

Hourly rental is available subject to current availability. Evening and weekend windows are the first to fill, so request your slot early.
Current rates are shared during the booking confirmation process so you always know the cost before payment is due.
Seasonal field blocks
The same time, the same field, every week.
Recurring bookings get priority scheduling before single-session requests are released. That gives your athletes a predictable training location and your staff one less thing to manage.

How it works
A simple booking process.
Step 1
Tell us what you need by sending your preferred dates, times, and sport through the booking form.
Step 2
We check availability and confirm your request, or suggest alternate times if your first choice is taken.
Step 3
You receive the Field Use License Agreement, payment instructions, and the insurance requirements for your booking.
Step 4
Once everything is signed and paid, your time is locked in. Show up, follow the field rules, and get to work.

Single session or full season, the field is here and the surface is ready. If you already know your schedule, it is better to request it now than chase availability later.

Seasonal washrooms are available from May 1 through October 31. Booking confirmations, field-use agreements, and insurance documentation are required before your time is finalized.
Requirements and rules
Protect the surface so everyone gets a good field.
Insurance requirement: all organizations must carry a minimum $2,000,000 Commercial General Liability policy with Fort Garry Lions Football Club Inc. and the City of Winnipeg named as Additional Insureds. Your certificate must be on file at least 5 business days before your first session.
